- Qualified employee retirement plans—If you don’t have a qualified plan, we will carefully explain the options available, including: 401(k), 403(b), SEP IRA, Simple IRA, profit sharing and other defined contribution type plans. The requirements and the options that accompany these types of programs will be explained to you so that you can craft a plan that meets your company’s objectives, while providing for your valuable employees. We work with you to navigate the vast array of investment options and services available for your plan. If you have a plan in place, your advisor will thoroughly analyze its performance and make recommendations regarding any changes that may be appropriate. In addition, The Pinnacle Financial Group can also advise you regarding defined benefit type retirement plans. We also offer educational programs and seminars to help your employees understand their qualified plans and make informed decisions about how to best benefit from them. - Non-qualified deferred executive compensation plans—With a non-qualified deferred executive compensation plan, an executive or employee can earn wages, salary or other compensation in one tax year, but choose to receive it in another tax year, thereby deferring the tax consequences. We can help you understand the benefits and challenges associated with a non-qualified deferred compensation plan so that you can determine if it’s in your best interest. If so, we will work with you to ensure that your plan is put in place.
- Investment policy statement preparation and review—We will help you put a policy statement in place that establishes guidelines and parameters for the investment of qualified plan assets, as well as other company revenues or capital. We can also review your existing investment policy statement for Section 404(c) compliance.
- Health, disability and group life insurance coverage—We have access to resources to allow you to evaluate existing employee insurance programs, including health, disability and group life policies.
