The Pinnacle Financial Group is offering $500 in scholarship for the Fall 2020 Semester.
While many families are quarantined in their households, we know it is more important than ever to use this time productively. As the Spring 2020 semester comes to a close, it is time to prepare for the upcoming Fall semester. The Pinnacle Financial Group is proud to sponsor an annual essay contest open to any individuals who are currently enrolled or will be enrolling full-time at an accredited college or university within the United States.
The Essay
At The Pinnacle Financial Group we know that a proactive approach to any cause effects change. Each individual around us cares about the environment in their own way. Submit an essay of at least 700 words and no more than 1,000 words answering the following questions: What is environmental awareness and what does it mean to you? What actions do you take on a daily basis that show your concern for the precious environment around you? Our marketing team will review all submitted essays and select two winners. The winning entrants will each receive a one-time scholarship award of $500, to be paid directly to your school. We will also post the winning essays on our website, www.thepinnaclefg.com.
The Contest Rules
To be eligible for the essay contest, you must:
- Include your name and a valid e-mail address in the upper left hand corner of the first page. A title page, however, is not required.
- Follow all requirements of MLA format.
- Submit your essay in Times New Roman font – 12 point , with header and page numbers.
- Stay within the prescribed word count of 700-1,000 words.
- Winners will be required to provide a valid student ID for the Fall 2020 semester and a valid class schedule. Proof of student status not required for entry.
- Deadline: June 15, 2020

The funds may only be used to pay the costs of tuition, books and/or supplies for the Fall 2020 semester. You cannot assign your right to the funds to another person. Accordingly, if you do not attend an accredited college or university during the semester the scholarship is awarded, your right to the proceeds will be forfeited.
Additionally, we encourage you to reach out to your respective colleges and universities to see if there are additional grants and scholarships available.
